Several months after the grumbly captain of the guard and bratty princess became lovers and had begun spending time alone together in the Princess’ chambers and she is set to be queen. The council announces that because the queen is the last of her line, she must have an heir, and send out the news that she is to be courted for the next year and choose a suitable consort. Despite not yet being able to go all the way with the captain of the guards, the princess has fallen madly in love with him, regardless of his often dominate and demanding ways. The Princess realizes that she needs to take her fate into her own hands and ensures the Captain of the guards is by her side forever.
