You've noticed your partner seems to be slipping into a state of depression again. You've known them for a long time, so this isn't a new thing for either of you. But that doesn't make talking about it any
easier. You aren't exactly sure how to talk about it, but it's something that has to be done.

Speaker and listener have been dating for several months. The listener has severe depression and anxiety but has kept it a secret from the speaker. Listener wants to be perfect and not broken for the speaker. This isn’t the first time the listener has spent the night, but this
time she starts panicking in the middle of the night and tries to hide.
You already told her what you felt for her before. You told her that you’d give her time to think it through and not rush whatever decision she must make. But as you wait for her reply, you realise that some things that are better said than silenced. You tell her the things that make you worry, jealous, and the things you want to do with her. Despite the distance between, you want her. And this time, you’re no longer holding back.

It’s your party and you’ll cry if you want to. Good thing your best friend is there to help.
There's an inner struggle we all experience and for some of us we sometimes decide that being strong is to not show your emotions. To hold it in. Bottle it up. It's only when you're being held in someone's arms, as they give you permission to let it out, that you do.

The protagonist recounts the tale of his brush with the Outer Gods.
This is a short story written and performed by me. I followed inspiration in the early morning hours so the recording lacks the refinement that the story itself received. Obvious inspiration is the Lovecraft Mythos while hoping to capture the essence of those stories. The fear of the unknown, an indulgent use of grand and weird descriptions and the knawing feeling, that creeps up on you, of something being fundamentally wrong in its existence.
I hope you find enjoyment from this and I will try to improve for the next upload.
