One often looks up at the universe. It's hard to imagine from our perspective when everything around us looks so big and monumental. Cars, trees, buildings. They surround us, overshadow us, engulf us. And staring up at night at the great beyond, we forget that they are only large because we are so close.
I bet somewhere out there in the universe, some other being is staring out from wherever your gaze lands. Staring across the vast expanse of nothingness. As far from you as you are from them. Just as absorbed in how big their surroundings are, despite being so small from your own view. They could be doing anything at all, truly.
