Summary:
The speaker is an extremely cruel man. Living a life of riches and prestige he is used to getting what he wants. But as he has grown older, he has spent much time alone in his castle with only his staff. Having yet to claim a wife, he has kidnapped the listener to meet his needs. She has been at the castle for a few weeks and has continuously fought back and attempted to escape. Though the speaker enjoys the game of assailing his captive, he wants to make it quite clear to her that she will never leave him.
