We've caught glimpses of each other at the café down by the corner. Fleeting glances, awkward morning smiles. It took me three weeks to finally work up the courage to ask for your number, and my heart was pounding when you finally said yes.
Tonight was our first date. Our dinner still fresh in our stomachs, and the chilly fall air making our breath mist into steam, we find ourselves walking you home. We both thought that it would end at dinner... but then you invite me inside. For "Coffee", of course.
