The situation was barely under control and things were close to going to shit. The lieutenant told everyone to stay down but you disobeyed the direct order, risking your life, in order to contain the threat. It got the job done, got the enemies in permanent custody, without anyone dying. But the lieutenant's not happy, especially with how he was disrespected. He wants an apology but being the stubborn strong-willed soldier that you are, refuses to admit that you were in the wrong. But the lieutenant's getting that apology, one way or another.
