I love this story and loved recording this. Outside in the cool air; the feeling of night was intoxicating, pulling me into the embrace of the headspace.
Sometimes I get annoyed at the background noises that surround me when I record but making them a feature rather than something to be erased was very liberating. Enjoying the moment and sharing it in its entirety made the entire process so harmonious.
This story was written and performed for adults, by adults. All characters are 18+.
Summary: She has lived for countless seasons, tending to her trees while she herself can take either their form, a human form, or many forms in between. Her life is perfect, other than some loneliness. Then a moment of vulnerability with a creature of the night turns her life upside down and makes her a danger to the forest itself.
