(Part 1)
She is about to break her casual relationship / fling off with someone she has been seeing for a year. They have been on a sort-of long distance relationship, with her being in Melbourne and him being in Sydney. They meet once a month to have fun, but talk on video calls almost every day, however, MC has been catching feelings. She prepared by distancing herself the past couple of weeks and was hoping she could wriggle out before it’s too late. (But it is.)
On a dark and rainy evening, you see a ghost from your past sitting at the airport lounge. And would you look at that? She still does her hair the same way...

You got hurt in a fire, and she misses her flight because she runs back home to you. She takes you home and makes sure you're safely tucked in bed... then you see her crying.
CW: Injuries, swearing. There will be themes of violence and death. SPEAKER POV: Your dad is making you wait in the lounge to meet your new bodyguard. Apparently, you’ve been too abrasive and rebellious that they couldn’t get anyone to sign on anymore, and you needed to see that these bodyguards are human. Except the bodyguard is not a soulless thug with giant arms this time– you’re faced with a tall and lean smartmouth with the face of a Disney Prince. He tells you not to worry about his face, but it’s not just his face you’re worried about.

LISTENER POV: You’re a bodyguard about to meet your newest client - the daughter of a multimillion dollar mogul in Pharma. Given your skillset and boredom level, you took on the job to pass the time. Money is not an issue, you hate being home, and you’d rather be out firing guns, taking bullets and playing Clue… and so far your clients are 100% alive. This hothead brat, however, might just break that streak. Knowing you’re a ticking time bomb, you might as well have fun and go out with a bang.
Your partner is away on a business trip, it’s the third day they’ve been gone. They know you’ve had a low appetite lately and they text you to open the front door. You discover they have ordered takeout to the house, so you don’t have to cook tonight. Since they can’t answer their phone right now, you call to leave a voicemail telling them how much you appreciate, love and miss them.
