Some notes if you don't understand the references in the lyrics: "You also, Hyacinthus, would be set in the sky!" (Ovid, Metamorphoses 10.162); Written on the flower at Hyacinthus' death site is "Al", meaning "Alas"; In some versions of the tale, the flower holds the "perfume of Hyacinthus' breath".
