Love bites

You are lost in the woods during a storm. You desperately try to find any kind of shelter to no avail. After some time of walking through the pouring rain you see a structure in the distance. You’re to tired to rationally think and don’t stop to question the placement of this building. As you draw closer you realize its more like a manor than anything. You justify this by thinking it’s some rich person’s seasonal home.
You walk up to the door and knock on it. A few seconds pass and the door opens but you see no one. You cautiously walk inside. The air inside is cold and you begin to shiver as your soaked clothes start feeling like sheets of ice against your skin, however the feeling of unease overpowers your freezing body. You feel like someone is watching you and a chill goes through your body. You turn around and see no one.
You decide that it would be best to leave and risk getting sick in the storm. As you make your way to the door it slams shut and you hear breathing behind you. You start to turn but a hand on the back of your neck stops you. Fear overpowers you and you feel your muscles tense up. Your skin feels like cold steel as your body seems to become like a statue. You feel warm breaths against your ear and a woman whose voice sounds like that of a noble, whispers to you.
“I didn’t expect my meal to deliver itself.”
