It's the end of the semester and my department's grant applications are due. And with everyone else already out of town, the only help I had left was the grad assistant that's been a pain in my ass the whole semester. But I managed to get her to stay by promising to drive her home ... to her summer cabin she's rented, four hours away.... But, hey, at least we got the grants done!
However, just as we're driving through the mountain pass, what should have been a rain storm turns into major blizzard, trapping us together on the side of the road as we wait it out. But as the hours pass in awkward, cold silence, I start to worry that we might just need to huddle together for warmth. And all I have is my single sleeping back from my camping trip last week. Fuck I hope this blizzard ends before one of us snaps at the other! Or something worse happens ... because, now that I have to be this close to her, I have to admit that if she weren't such a brat, she'd probably be pretty cute....
