One of my favourite songs from the thirties, which is slightly ironic as I'm teetotal and the song celebrates the end of prohibition. I used to listen to the famous Spike Jones And His City Slickers version as a child and that nutty take on it always made me laugh.
The song was originally recorded by Carl Brisson for the 1934 movie, murder at the vanities, other famous covers include Duke Ellington and more recently Ralph Shaw: King Of The Ukulele.
I am not trying to hide that I have autotuned the hell out of myself for this!!
