When I first discussed this script with him, he told me that while he was posting a version that was from the perspective of a partner, the script had originally been conceived as coming from somewhere inside the listener. I knew I had to record both.
**CONTENT**
This audio is how the script was originally conceived. It’s a pep talk from an aspect inside of you while you are recovering from surgery. No specific surgery is mentioned, but it is something that’s transition related. Medication and its side effects are mentioned. The listener’s gender identity is never specified, other than not being cis. This is meant to cheer up all you brave folx who are walking this difficult path, and becoming stronger everyday because of it.
