I've decided to take a short break from the Grimm Tales, as we've exhausted most of the more well-known ones, so for tonight's bedtime story, we'll be reading another Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale by the name of The Brave Tin Soldier! I hope you all enjoy a look at one of my favorite Andersen stories, and one of the major inspirations for Pixar's Toy Story :)
Our first bedtime story and fairy tale in quite some time, The Elf of the Rose is a bit of a dour story about karma, consequences, and in that old-timey fairy tale kind way, about why you should be a good person so terrible things don't happen to you. Wanted to actually do another recording of something else, but it is quite late here and I wanted to do something simple. This was one of the best chapters, I giggled too much lmao.
